Meet the Coaches

Kyle Rollins is a decorated track and field athlete and coach with a distinguished career spanning both competition and coaching. As a standout athlete at St. John Fisher Kyle was named the 2022 National Field Athlete of the Year, became a 4-time national champion in the High Jump, and earned 12 All-American honors (7x High Jump, 5x Triple Jump). A two-time high school All-American in the decathlon, Kyle also secured a state championship in the pentathlon and was inducted into the Section V Hall of Fame.
Transitioning into coaching at SUNY Geneseo, Kyle has helped guide multiple athletes to national success, coaching two All-American triple jumpers, two 2nd team All-American multi-event athletes, and another second-team All-American in the triple jump.While he was an assistant coach at SUNY Geneseo, the Men's team placed 3rd overall at the 2023 Indoor National Championships, while both the men’s and women’s teams secured four consecutive conference titles.

Zach Briggs is a dedicated track and field coach and NASM-certified personal trainer specializing in sports performance. Competing at St. John Fisher, Zach was a multiple time top-three finisher in the Empire 8 Conference Championships before transitioning into coaching, where he has built a strong reputation for developing elite jumpers.
Since then, Zach has coached multiple athletes to national success, including a national champion in the high jump in 2022, an All-American in the triple jump in 2022, a second team All-American in the high jump in 2024, and an All-American in the triple jump in 2025. His expertise spans all jumping events, with a focus on technical development and conditioning

Sean Cochrane is a NCAA Division III All-American and current Assistant Jumps Coach at Fairport High School. During his collegiate career, Sean was named the 2024 Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Year, captured two Empire 8 high jump titles, and secured multiple podium finishes at the AARTFC Regional Championships.
Over the years, Sean consistently pushed the limits of what was expected, leaping a foot higher than his own height, a testament to his technical mastery and relentless determination.
Now coaching at the high school level, Sean brings that same drive and athlete-first approach to training, helping jumpers build confidence, refine their technique, and reach new heights—both on and off the track
